Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Laketown Farms, LLC ("Laketown Farms," "we," "us") operates this website for licensed Minnesota cannabis businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. This site is intended only for adults 21 and older and for licensed businesses; we do not sell cannabis products to consumers through this site.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our wholesale inquiry form, email us, or create a partner account, we collect what you provide, which may include:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your business name, store city and Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) license number
- Product interests, order details and anything else you include in your message
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and its hosting provider automatically receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep the site working, for example to remember that you confirmed you are 21 or older and to keep you signed in to a partner account.
How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries and evaluate wholesale applications
- To verify that your business holds a valid Minnesota cannabis license, as required before we can sell to you
- To set up and manage partner accounts, quotes, invoices, orders and deliveries
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including state recordkeeping and inventory-tracking requirements
- To operate, secure and improve the website
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as our website, e-commerce and email platforms (including Zoho), payment processors and delivery partners. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Regulators and authorities when required by law, including the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management and the state's inventory-tracking system.
- Legal and safety reasons, such as complying with a subpoena or court order, enforcing our terms, or protecting our rights and the safety of others.
- Business transfers, if Laketown Farms is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including any period required by Minnesota cannabis regulations, tax law or other legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by contacting us at the address below. Some information must be kept to meet our legal obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, and we will respond to requests as that law requires.
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies; some parts of the site, such as the age confirmation and partner sign-in, may not work properly without them.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
